An Apiary on Malta’s Xemxija Heritage Trail

Yay. I finally got back to the bees. I've been wanting to do a stock tour /feeding round for ages and today with my bee pal we managed to check every colony. Most sites are still holding their own, some that were very heavy have had a block of fondant as a precaution and a few were light. 2 sadly have passed, its nature's way. Even with combs still full of honey a late queen failure is the cause here. You can do everything right, leave them plenty of their own honey, treat them for disease,( var
