Fishing reports from Delaware Bay to Great Bay sounded similar on the opening weekend of the 2025 striped bass season at the end of last month.
A striped bass, possibly the first of the season caught from the surf, was landed in Beach Haven. Shad fishing is improving on the Delaware River, with a recent haul of 10 buck shad and 7 females.
