A motorcyclist was killed Saturday evening after a pickup truck crossed into oncoming traffic and struck the motorcycle, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

According to FHP, a Harley Davidson Electra motorcycle crashed into the back of a 2006 Honda Shadow VLX on State Road 11 near DeLand.

FHP says the crash happened on High Bridge Road in Volusia County.
